This is a test of an animatronic hand I built at home using no robotics at all. It works using strings which act like tendants to move each finger.
This is only a sample to take myself through the construction process and how it works, I plan to try another this time with a more sturdy piping, possibly from metal.
I also bought latex gloves and faux fur with the intent of creating the skin and fur of the hand, so its more of a hybrid mammal claw.
I was Impressed, a lot of hard work on it. Good job I keep junk in my garage!
